Empire of the Sun Remix Lady Gaga’s “Applause”

Following the lead of Purity Ring, earlier today the Australian duo Empire of the Sun became the most recent group to take a stab at Lady Gaga’s “Applause.” You can check the remix out for yourself at the bottom of this post, after the jump.

Still flying high off the release of their most recent full-length Ice on the Dune earlier this year, it would seem that the electro pop outfit has made Gaga’s already hit single even more pulse-pounding with added synthesizer and driving percussion.

In the near future, the group will be hard at work scoring the upcoming film, Dumb and Dumber To, the Universal feature that will see the reprisal of two of the most cherished comedic personalities in recent memory.
