Daniel Radcliffe Won’t Star In Freddie Mercury Biopic

Rumors flew around the internet earlier this week that Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe would be replacing Sacha Baron Cohen as Freddie Mercury in the long-in-development film about the Queen frontman’s life.

However, Radcliffe denied those rumors in an interview with Empire Magazine, stating, “Everyone on the internet who I presume is saying I’m totally wrong for that part is correct. I am completely wrong for that part.”

This news follows closely on the heels of conflicting reports from the writers and producers as to whether or not the project would continue without Cohen on board.
