EXCLUSIVE: Quiet Out Loud Announce ‘What I Really Meant To Say…’ EP Release, Offer Free MP3

Chicago band Quiet Out Loud may have only been together for the last nine months, but they are quickly becoming one of the most hyped bands on the pop rock underground. Fans have known the group were working on their own debut release for some time, and this afternoon we’re excited to exclusively reveal that Quiet Out Loud will release the What I Really Meant To Say… EP on October 8. You can view the artwork and track listing below.

When asked about the group’s EP, guitarist Matt Lillie offered:

“We spent the last 5 months putting together the absolute best EP possible. From working with amazing writers and producers (Tom Degrazia, Morgan Dorr, Steve Kennedy, Mark McKlusky ect) to even getting one of our idols Will Pugh on a track with us. It has been an amazing surreal experience and we couldn’t be more excited to share this will all of you!”

The track with Will Pugh of Cartel that Lillie refers to is the band’s latest single, “Hollywood (Make Up Your Mind).” For the next 24 hours UTG is making that song available to you, FOR FREE. You can stream and download the song at the end of this post.

Quiet Out Loud sold out the House Of Blues in Chicago in early 2013 and will play to another sold out hometown crowd during their October 3 release show. We expect big things from these guys in the months ahead and will be sure to update you when they release additional tour and/or recording information. Be sure to follow UTG on Twitter for all the latest news, including exclusives not found on the site.
