Breaking Bad may have come to a triumphant close on Sunday night, but the art inspired by Vince Gilligan’s hit series is just starting to roll out.
Producers Tom Neville and Zen Freeman have been making a name for themselves in EDM for awhile, but they’ve taken their career to the next level this morning with the release of an Aaron Paul assisted track entitled, “Dance Bitch.” The song blends hard-hitting dance music with samples of the Breaking Bad star saying “Dance Bitch” played in a variety of ways to create an intoxicating fusion of sound that is guaranteed to get you moving. You can stream the track at the end of this post.
As much as I love Breaking Bad, I think “Dance Bitch” may be the proverbial ‘jump the shark’ moment for art created in tribute to the series. It’s a fun song, but if we’re being completely honest with ourselves no one will likely remember this track in 6 months time. Do you agree? Comment below and let us know your thoughts.
