Kevin Devine is one of the hardest working musicians in the scene right now, and one of the most appreciated. Back when Devine announced a Kickstarter to fund his next two albums, the goal was met in under twelve hours. Now Devine returns with the first video from the full band album, with the title track “Bubblegum.”
The incredibly catchy pop-ballad consists of Devine’s notable hooks, though this time with a little grittier production, thanks to producer Jesse Lacey of Brand New fame. The video, which was directed by Daniel Ralston, was filmed around Pennsylvania and holds a story centered around an auto-repair shop run by Devine.
