If you follow UTG on Twitter you know we have been working hard on a big announcement involving the great state of Texas. The time has come to unveil that news, and we hope to see all of your smiling faces soon.

Under The Gun Review, along with the rest of Absolute Voices (Absolutepunk, Punknews, and PropertyofZack), is proud to announce that we will be one of the sponsors for this month’s upcoming South By So What festival in Grand Prairie, TX, on October 25 and 26. This year’s festival will feature sets from Finch, Story Of The Year, G-Eazy, Gwar, Memphis May Fire, and more. Tickets are still available for purchase and we will have a lot of cool content in the coming weeks leading up to the festival.

To coincide with this announcement, the organizers of South By So What have released a new poster featuring the logos of all the Absolute Voices sites. You can view that image at the end of this post.

Though we cannot say with complete certainty just yet, it looks like a handful of UTG staffers will be in Texas for this festival. If you plan on going, comment below and let us know! We’d love to meet up, talk music, see bands, and celebrate the complete badassery that is life in Texas.
