A Day To Remember are still in the midst of very long and public dispute with Victory Records over whether or not the band has fulfilled their record contract, which threatened to postpone the October 8 release of their new album, Common Courtesy. However, the band received word over the weekend that they are legally allowed to put the record out independently.

This news comes as a huge relief for the Florida quintet, a feeling that is readily apparent in frontman Jeremy McKinnon’s speech in the official announcement video, which can be viewed after the break.

Preorder Common Courtesy at the band’s website, and catch the band on the House Party Tour this fall with All Time Low, Pierce the Veil, and The Wonder Years.
