Earlier today, the punk rock five-piece A Wilhelm Scream granted fans with a long awaited first look at their upcoming full-length, Partycrasher, by streaming the first single off the record, titled “Born a Wise Man.” You can check it out at the bottom of this post, after the jump.
Though the group originally stated in late 2012 that Partycrasher would likely debut in the Spring of 2013, the album’s release was pushed forward to the more bearable date of November 5 just last week. Additionally, this will be the outfit’s first release through No Idea Records, and their sixth full-length in total. It was produced at Black & Blue Studios in New Bedford, Massachusetts by Trevor J. Reilly and Mike Supina.
On November 15, A Wilhelm Scream will hit the road with Single Mothers in support of Partycrasher, jumping between the Canada and the North-East United States. You can catch the full list of tour dates here.
With “Born a Wise Man”, it would seem A Wilhelm Scream has stayed true to their craft, somehow managing to once again squeeze all the ferocity of a rabid animal into a mere three-minute track. Give it a listen for yourself, and comment below and let us know what you think!
