Incubus fans know one thing for sure, Brandon Boyd is a multi-talented man. Aside from being a singer/songwriter, he is an outstanding musician and artist. He paints, draws, writes poetry and other sorts of prose. He surfs, has philanthropic endeavors and holds his fans in high regard.
In September, Boyd released a self-titled full length album for his newest project called Sons of The Sea in addition to his third art book, So The Echo.
On Sunday, September 29, Brandon Boyd had an in-store event at Looney Tunes in West Babylon, NY. Looney Tunes is one of the few remaining independent music retailers who specialize in everything from vinyl to memorabilia. They frequently host events where artists perform and meet with their fans. The Brandon Boyd autograph signing had over 400 fans. Some of these patrons were local and others came from as far as Canada.
Check out below the jump to see exclusive footage from the event and an interview with Brandon where he discusses everything from his writing process to the future of Incubus.
Comedian Jim Norton once called him a serial killer on national radio. Enjoy the internet with him on Twitter.
