Revisit ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ in AlunaGeorge’s New Music Video

London duo AlunaGeorge create music videos like modern paintings of childhood stories, and their new one for “Best Be Believing” is another gallery piece waiting to be hung. We see the two in Professor Reid’s Dance Rehabilitation Clinic–Aluna as a newly entered patient and George as one of the labcoats working there–which is all intentionally reminiscent of Jack Nicholson’s 1975 classic One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest had patients signed up for urban dance. Don’t worry, their video’s much happier than the book.

Their other music videos have brought us back to childhood days, as well. “Attracting Flies” saw a Disney’s greatest hits treatment with modern updates on classic princess scenarios, and “Your Drums, Your Love” had us reignite our imagination for a stop-start video that answered lingering questions about freezing time.

“Best Be Believing” is off AlunaGeorge’s debut electro-R&B album, Body Music, released this summer. You can purchase it now through iTunes, Amazon, or their website. Watch the video for the song below:
