Hot damn, I See Stars. I think you have a hit on your hands.
The alternative scene may have spent the last few days devouring Common Courtesy like a rabid pack of breakdown-obsessed zombies, but now it’s time to focus on I See Stars and what is shaping up to be the best album of their career.
We have spent a lot of time discussing the impending release of I See Star’s New Demons due to its numerous delays, but the record is finally hitting shelves later this month and today we have a new song to share with all of you. “When I Say Jump, You Say How High” is the eleventh track on the upcoming album, and just like the other recently released songs it showscases a more mature, yet equally intense sound from the Michigan based electronic hardcore group. Other tracks may be heavier, and some may have larger hooks, but this track does host the best balance of every element the band brings to the table we have heard thus far. You can stream the song at the end of this post.
New Demons will hit shelves in less than two weeks time. We have heard from a number of sources that additional songs will surface before that time, so be sure to follow UTG for updates.
Do you think “When I Say Jump, You Say How High” could be I See Stars’ next big song? Comment below and let us know your thoughts.
