Watch Ylvis and The Roots perform “The Fox” on Jimmy Fallon

Ylvis has the biggest internet sensation and what is likely this year’s greatest one hit wonder right now with their song, “The Fox.” The Norwegian brothers have gotten so much attention from their ridiculous yet addicting track that they got the chance to perform it on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this week.

Somehow Ylvis managed to recreate many of the aspects found in “The Fox” video during their performance. There were girls dressed like sexy foxes, a grandpa reading to his grandson and even Jimmy and The Roots got in the spirit. Jimmy joined Ylvis in a fox suit while The Roots’ Questlove only rocked the fox ears.

You have to wonder why songs like this become so popular but then you remember that Eiffel 65 once ruled the airwaves with “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” and acts like the Black Eyed Peas and Nickelback were and are chart toppers.
