Up-and-coming DC progressive metal band Wings Denied recently released a new single, “Generation Y,” and it’s definitely something you’re going to want to check out. Filled with borderline-obsessively intricate guitar and drum parts, soaring vocals, and massive production, the song should be played loud, and honestly with a nice pair of headphones. If you’re into bands like Periphery and Protest the Hero, you’re going to feel right at home with Wings Denied and their new single.

“Generation Y” is the first song off of Wings Denied’s upcoming debut full length, which was produced this past Summer in North Carolina with producer Jamie King (Between the Buried and Me, Alesana). There is no concrete release date yet for their new record, but it’s a safe bet to assume the record will drop early 2014.
