Curren$y Debuts “442” Featuring Lil Wayne and Birdman

Someone call Doc Brown and tell him we may soon need help. Based on the lineup on this track it appears we may have returned to 2009 overnight.

Teaming up his former label bosses Birdman and Lil Wayne, Curren$y surprised urban music listeners last night by dropping a new single titled “442.” The song pairs the rapper often referred to as Spitta alongside Cash Money‘s finest for a track about embodying the spirit of one of the slickest Oldsmobile models to ever roll off the assembly line. It’s fun, bass-heavy, and sure to please genre fans looking to have a good time with new music without thinking too much about the subject matter. You can stream and download a radio rip of the single below.

Curren$y used to drop new material almost weekly, but in 2013 he’s been far more reserved about what he allows to surface online. “442” has potential hit written all over it, so we hope there is more from Spitta to come in the weeks ahead. Until then, comment below and let us know your thoughts on the new single.
