Future Is Back on Drake’s Tour, Probably

Following up on the Drake/Future fallout story, which began with Future allegedly dissing Nothing Was the Same (he and his management claim the comments were out of context), Drake kicking Future off Would You Like A Tour? (such a Drake name for a tour), and Future suing Drake for $1.5 million (the sum total he would have received for all the dates he would be missing) while negotiations between the artist’s rep were ongoing.

Now, according to various sources (including FACT via Atlanta’s Hot 107.5), the beef has been more or less squashed, and Future will be back in time for the tour’s opening date Friday at Pittsburgh’s CONSOL Energy Center. There are also rumors that Jhené Aiko has been added to the tour as a supporting act.

Whether or not this is really the end of the drama from headline-magnet Drake’s latest tour is yet to be seen, but everything looks to be a go, for now. Despite the there-and-gone-again feud, at least Drake’s tour can boast that it’s still a thing that will happen, as opposed to Death Grips and their latest cancellation/possible performance art piece.
