The wait is over, Katycats. Your queen has returned.
After spending the better part of the last three months teasing new material and making the rounds on every press outlet known to man, Katy Perry has finally unveiled a full stream of her new album, Prism, ahead of the record’s official release. The album is the third for the vocalist who rose to fame for finding joy in kissing girls, and from what we’ve heard thus far it’s poised to be her most diverse offering to date. You can stream Prism at the end of this post.
We are planning a full review of Prism in the days ahead, but I can tell you right now that what you’re about to hear is not the same young woman who lived a Teenage Dream just a few short years ago. Katy has grown up a lot since our last encounter, and that fact becomes increasingly evident as you dig into Prism. After you listen, comment below and let us know your first impression of the record.
