Dance songs get remixed a lot, and all too often those efforts result in the original undergoing minor tweaks that, in the big picture, do very little to the original piece. Rising producer Aylen recognizes this shortcoming and strives to create truly original works out of others’ good material. He’s previously shown his talents with the work of Slayer and Coldplay, but the reason we’ve gathered today is a far poppier one.

Zedd has had a banner year in 2013, and his latest hit is the infectious “Stay The Night,” which features Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams. The track is fantastic as is, but Aylen found a way to rework the entire production in a way that is as good, if not better than the original. He slows the vocals way down and adds some trap melodies and beats that give the song a brand new edge that club-goers will no doubt swoon over. You can stream and download the remix below.
