Arcade Fire Stream New Song From ‘Reflektor’

If you haven’t seen the hype around Arcade Fire‘s upcoming fourth full-length, Reflektor, then you probably haven’t been paying attention. The Canadian indie rockers started the promotion cycle with an intriguing viral campaign, which concluded with a series of intimate shows as an alter ego called The Reflektors, which required fans to wear formal dress, and a slew of TV show appearances, including a notable performance on Saturday Night Live.

Despite playing primarily new material at these shows, the band has been stingy with actual studio recordings from Reflektor, so far having only debuted the title track, which was produced by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem. Now the band has also released a second song from the album, titled “Afterlife,” which continues to showcase the group’s eclectic influences and penchant for long, grandiose songs. Check out a lyric video after the break.

Reflektor hits stores next Tuesday, October 29.
