2015 Will Be The Last Year Of Touring For The Who

In the canon of classic rock, few bands are more revered than The Who. Equally talented at producing ambitious concept albums, such as Tommy and Quadrophenia, and massive hit singles like “My Generation,” the legendary British rockers have more than cemented themselves as some of the best at their game.

Even the most storied careers must end, however, and The Who’s will end with a world tour in 2015. The tour will mark the band’s fiftieth anniversary, and they plan to take the show to places that they have played rarely or not at all on previous tours, such as Eastern Europe.

It doesn’t come as a huge surprise that The Who are calling it a day, especially since only two original members remain and guitarist Pete Townshend’s struggle with tinnitus has forced the band to stall touring plans in the past, but we can rest assured that their last hurrah will be something to see. No dates have been announced yet, but we’ll be sure to post them when they are.
