The Swellers Stream New Album

The last couple years have been quite a ride for The Swellers. In 2011, the Flint, MI quartet released Good For Me on Fueled By Ramen before parting ways with the label less than a year later. They then self-released a stellar EP, Running Out of Places To Go, before finding a new and more fitting home at No Sleep Records, also home to fellow Michiganders La Dispute.

The Swellers’ first release for No Sleep is The Light Under Closed Doors, a raw pop punk record that finds the band stripping down their sound to its core elements: Tight, assertive drumming, catchy choruses, and honest, relatable lyrics. The resulting ten songs are some of the best of their career.
