UPDATE: The official trailer has been released. Click here for details.
Original story: Paramount is going to be all over this in a matter of hours. So if the videos go down, consider this our apology.
There has been a lot of talk about the upcoming movie adaptation of the biblical story of Noah, aka the man who built a ship to carry two of every animal (and his family) when God decided to flood the earth thousands of years ago. At first, everyone was talking about the expensive CGI and writer/director Darren Aronofsky’s vision for the adaptation, but now that a trailer has begun being shown to test audiences (usually in religious settings) the story has started to change to a far more critical one. Rumors abound that their are editing troubles at Paramount, and others claim audiences are not completely at ease with the mythical creatures being injected into the story. A bootlegged version of the aforementioned trailer has found its way online, and at the end of this story you can decide for yourself if Noah is shaping up to be a feature you pay to see in 2014.
It’s not the greatest quality for a trailer (what did you expect?), but there seems to be a lot of promise in this trailer. Aronofsky has certainly dramatized the story, but the sense of scale and set design looks good so far. Russell Crowe looks very Russell Crowe, but again – what else would you expect?
Noah floats into theaters March 28, 2014. Comment below and let us know your first impressions of the trailer.
SIDE NOTE: How weird is it that people cheer about the destruction of Earth?

Crowd seems to love it. I think it looks awesome. Glad Darrenofsky got Connelly again, too.
