Download James Blake’s Remix of Drake’s “Come Thru” for Free

Remember when 2011’s James Drake mashup album came out and the pairing of the two artists seemed like a no-brainer? Thankfully James Blake has picked up Drake‘s Nothing Was the Same track “Come Thru,” and the result is near-perfect.

Drake’s steady rapping gets linked up with Blake’s iconic deep bass and buzzing electronics, not to mention the addition of some of his own crooning in the background. I’m curious to see what the whole album would sound like remixed. Before Nothing Was the Same, it was rumored that Blake collaborated on the album (Drake told Rolling Stone they worked together in the studio). Now we get that collaboration, and you can download it for free.
