Drake Debuts “Trophies” In Brooklyn

Drake‘s fall tour may have had a bit of trouble getting off the ground, but now that things are underway it’s one packed arena after another, and at one such stop in Brooklyn recently Drizzy decided to share some new material with fans.

Dubbed “Trophies,” a new single from Drake was premiered by his DJ during last night’s (October 28) show at the Barclays Center. The track, which Drake originally told Billboard would appear on his recently released album Nothing Was The Same, offers a hard-hitting beat that is coupled with a flow reminiscent of “No New Friends” only more aggressive. You can stream a fan-shot clip of the performance below. For the best sound, we recommend using the highest video quality setting possible (720p or higher).

It’s hard to guess why “Trophies” was left off Nothing Was The Same, but it’s clear Drake still has a lot of faith in the track. There’s always a chance he’ll release it on the fly as he has so many promotional singles in the past, but for now it seems those hungry for new Drake will need to attend the Would You Like A tour when it rolls through a city near them.
