After much “will he, wont he” non-sexual tension, it is being confirmed that Kick-Ass star, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, will play Quicksilver in the upcoming Avengers sequel, The Avengers: Age of Ultron. According to Latino Review, Johnson is currently signing his deal for the film.

For months it was debated whether Johnson had the role, or if it was going to someone else. For a while there was much confusion over the two versions of Quicksilver appearing in film in the next for years, for X-Men: Days of Future Past will have its own variation of the character.

What role Quicksilver will have in the movie is still unknown, for Fox owns the rights to the X-Men series, and in the comics Quicksilver is Magneto’s son. It has been said that Quicksilver will appear in Age of Ultron alongside his sister, Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen.

With the start of production nearing, expect a lot more news for anything Marvel related here at UTG.
