If you thought Dance Gavin Dance would crumble in the wake of Jonny Craig’s exit you could not have been more wrong. Their latest album, Acceptance Speech, is their finest to date by a wide margin, and today one of the record’s best cuts was given the official video treatment.

“Strawberry Swisher Pt III” played a big role in the promotional efforts for Acceptance Speech, and listening through it’s easy to understand why. The track blends DGD’s signature technical prowess with gut-wrenching screams and soaring vocals to create an auditory experience that keeps you on the edge of your toes throughout its runtime. The video matches this carefree exploration of all things awesome with brilliant performance sequences and an engaging story. You can view the clip at the end of this post.

We did not run a review of Acceptance Speech yet, but if you like what you hear in this video there is absolutely no reason for you to skip the full album.
