If you followed indie rock at all between 2000 and 2010, there’s a very good chance you were a fan of The Honorary Title and Rilo Kiley (and if you weren’t, both bands have excellent discographies waiting to be discovered). Either way, you’re in for a treat with Night Terrors of 1927, the new project featuring Jarrod Gorbel and Blake Sennett, principle members of those two bands, respectively.
The band will release an EP called Guilty Pleas on November 11, and you can hear a new song, “Fall Into You,” after the break. The track borrows a little bit from the members’ past lives as indie rockers, but the dark vibe and atmospheric electronics put it much more in line with bands like The 1975.
