The alternative rock scene is buzzing this morning following a late night tweet by former From First To Last frontman/guitarist Matt Good. Could a reunion be on the way? Could Skrillex become Sonny once more? We don’t know yet, but something is definitely on the horizon.
Taking to Twitter just before 11pm EST last night, Good wrote “For all those FFTL fans out there, I have a very cool announcement coming soon.” He included a winking emoticon after his message.
From First To Last originally formed in 1999, but their career didn’t begin to take off until their debut album, Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count arrived in 2004. Featuring a number of singles that would eventually go on to become genre staples, the album propelled Good and his fellow bandmates to the forefront of their genre and they remained amongst the greats until they disbanded in July 2010.
Considering the fact nostalgia is all the rage right now, it’s not too hard to imagine that From First To Last could be planning at least a single anniversary show to mark their debut hitting the decade mark. Whether or not Sonny Moore – better known as Skrillex these days – will return to front the group however is another story entirely. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for updates and will bring you more information as it becomes available. For now, comment below and let us know if you would pay to see From First To Last together again.

It would be awesome of the band got together for a reunion show, but FFTL was never the same after Sonny left.
It’s gotta be with Sonny Moore otherwise the tour will flop. And if it is, I’ll be going nuts from One Armed Boxer through the end.
Seconded everything Derek just said.
Agreed. They need to have a reunion tour with Sonny!!
Saw them four times before Sonny left and had a blast every time. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to see them again today – Sonny or not – but I wouldn’t mind getting ‘Dear Diary’ on vinyl.
