Adam Lazzara To Rejoin Taking Back Sunday Tour Tonight

Taking Back Sunday has spent the better part of the past month on the road with Polar Bear Club and Transit, but the last week of that tour has taken place without frontman Adam Lazzara, who promptly flew home to be with his wife and family for the unexpected early birth of his second child. After canceling a couple dates, the band soldiered on with former Underoath vocalist Spencer Chamberlain covering for Lazzara, and they even took the opportunity to throw in a few special treats, such as “Existentialism On Prom Night” by guitarist John Nolan’s former project, Straylight Run.

As fun as it would be to see the Chamberlain-fronted version of the band, nothing really compares to a Taking Back Sunday show with the full lineup, and fortunately for those attending the tour’s last few dates, that’s exactly what they’ll get. The band announced yesterday that Lazzara’s family is all in good health and that he will rejoin the tour tonight at The Fillmore in Charlotte, NC.
