Justin Bieber Debuts “Bad Day”

When someone announces a weekly music series there are bound to be songs that are better than others. Justin Bieber delivered a hit last Monday, but unfortunately this week’s #MusicMondays entry leaves a bit to be desired.

Backed by acoustic guitar and a steady drum sample, “Bad Day” finds Justin Bieber depicting the worst day in his now non-existent relationship. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say, and now that Justin finds himself alone on top of the world he’s regretting the decisions that lead to his love being torn asunder. You can stream the single at the end of this post.

A good broken heart makes for a great sad song, but something about “Bad Day” lacks the authenticity heard on some of Bieber’s other recent releases. It’s a decent song and his delivery is plenty emotive, but the final results just leave you feeling like there should be more to experience. Comment below and let us know if you agree.

No word yet on when #MusicMondays will end, but as long as they serve as good conversation starters we’ll continue to cover each release.
