SideOneDummy Records Announce #TestPressThursdays

So you get to donate to charity, and get some awesome test presses too? What could be better than that! SideOneDummy Records have announced a new charity effort that’s been dubbed #TestPressThursdays. Every Thursday, starting November 7, the label will auction off some new rare/limited edition and/or test press vinyls from bands on the label. The presses will be added to the label’s eBay profile, and eBayers will be able to battle it out online. They haven’t given specifics as to what will be on sale, and when, but you can see what they had to say, and find their eBay username, below the jump.

SideOneDummy is donating net proceeds to MusiCares and Harmony project. So you get something awesome, and two awesome charities will get to benefit from it!

Starting this Thursday November 7, we will be launching an ongoing charity auction series called #TestPressThursdays!

For the next 3-4 months, we’ll be auctioning off roughly 60-80 rare and limited vinyl test presses from the SideOneDummy catalogue, new and old. Net proceeds from the auction will go to benefit MusiCares and Harmony Project.

The first batch of test presses will go live on our eBay account this Thursday, November 7th and features rare items from MxPx, Title Fight, The Horrible Crowes and more!
