We’ve been toying with the idea of releasing a third installment of our Ignorant Anthems series, and after hearing the latest from DJ Self I think we may have found one of first tracks to make the cut.

Hailing from the critically acclaimed Power 105.1 team, DJ Self has released a new single titled “Yeah OK” that brings together Kazzie and MMG mastermind Rick Ross against a bass-heavy production that will leave your speakers smoking. The depth of the lyricism may be equal to that of a puddle following a summer rain, but there is a vibe to the way each emcee pairs with the music that simply can’t be denied. You can stream and download the single at the end of this post.

“Yeah OK” is the lead single off DJ Self’s upcoming mixtape, Expanding My Business. We’re not sure when the full project will be released, but we’ll certainly have this single on repeat for weeks to come. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on the new material.
