Soundwave Fest Adds A Slew Of New Bands To Lineup

Australia’s heavy music festival monolith, Soundwave, has made a huge line-up announcement for 2014 with an additional 38 bands being added to the already stacked line-up. Among the most notable acts added are Mastodon, A Day To Remember, Jimmy Eat World, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Suicide Silence, Panic! At The Disco and (for the very first time in Australia) Dir En Grey.

These bands join the likes of Green Day, Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Temple Pilots (with Chester Bennington), Alice in Chains, AFI, Rob Zombie, Placebo and many others in a diverse line-up that features a staggering 88 acts and should ensure another sold out run for the 11^th installment of the festival.

It would appear that they’re still not finished adding bands to the line-up as the festival owner, AJ Maddah, announced via Twitter that they still have “a few internationals left” for a pending third announcement.
