Evan Weiss (of Into It. Over It.) just might be the most prolific man in music right now, so it came as no surprise when one of his many projects, Their / They’re / There, announced recently that they would release their second EP of 2013. The group, which also features Mike Kinsella (Owen, American Football) and Matthew Frank (Loose Lips Sink Ships), debuted with a well-received EP on Record Store Day in April, and Analog Weekend, out December 10, is shaping up to be no different.
Check after the break to hear “Curtain Call,” a new song from the EP, which was recorded over the summer in Lawrence, Kansas with producer Ed Rose, who has helmed iconic albums by The Get Up Kids, The Appleseed Cast, Motion City Soundtrack, and many more. It’s clear from the song that Rose is a perfect match for the band’s, driving, technical style.
You can pre-order the EP now from Topshelf Records or Polyvinyl Records.
