Allison Weiss Announces ‘Say What You Mean (Sideways Sessions)’

Before Allison Weiss released Say What You Mean via No Sleep Records in the spring of this year, she funded the recording of the album through a successful Kickstarter campaign. One of the rewards for backers of the campaign was an acoustic version of the entire record, which will now receive a wide release under the name Say What You Mean (Sideways Sessions).

It’s clear from the new version of “One Way Love,” which you can stream over at Alternative Press, that Sideways Sessions is more than just quick acoustic renditions of familiar tunes. The song is entirely reworked with a slower tempo and a bit of alt-country influence, giving it new life even for longtime listeners.
