Chance The Rapper Covers Coldplay’s “Fix You”

When most people think of Chicago native Chance The Rapper they picture a quick-tongued twenty-something with rhyming talent that towers above many of his peers. What they might not realize however, is that Chance loves to sing as well, and during one recent performance he debuted his own version of Coldplay’s “Fix You.”

Standing on stage in Syracuse at some point in the last week, Chance let fans in on his crooning abilities by tackling Coldplay’s 2005 power ballad. His attempt was admirable to say the least, even if some of the higher notes were missed by wide margin, and thanks to the fine people of HighBrowHipHop you can view a high quality video the cover at the end of this post.

Chance recently announced he would not be joining Eminem on his 2014 overseas tour, but did find time to add a slew of headlining dates to his current fall tour. If you have yet to download his album, Acid Rap, click here and discover what is without a doubt one of the best releases you will hear all year.
