In a statement, Killers drummer Ronnie Vannucci, Jr. said, “I don’t think it will take an unnaturally long time for us to get guys together, but it’s time to take a breather and ground out a little bit … I think everybody is looking forward to putting their feet up for a little while and having some normalcy.”
Frontman Brandon Flowers has recently said that he’s planning another solo album, and Vannucci is hoping to record a follow-up to 2011’s Big Talk.
About the album, he’s said, “I think I want to make another record. I’m already starting it. I like to keep moving. I love that notion of momentum. I think some of the guys are just going to chill out, keep writing probably, make sure to get some rest.”
