Chiodos Debut New Song Live

Chiodos announced at the end of summer that their long-awaited new album would not be out until 2014, but that certainly isn’t stopping the group from debuting new material on their current overseas tour.

Appearing in the UK recently, Chiodos debuted a new song that’s rumored to be titled “Behvis Bullock.” The song is a heavy, hard-hitting track that will probably go a long way towards putting a smile on the face of those who’ve longed for a return to the days of All’s Well That Ends Well. You can view the performance below.

It would be wrong of us to go too in depth critiquing new material based off a live video shot by someone attempting to steady their arm amidst moshing teenagers, but so far the latest from Chiodos shows a lot of promise. There is a clear return to heavier sound, but knowing Owens’ love to croon I’m sure there are a few more relaxed tracks waiting to be unleashed.

There is currently no release date for Chiodos’ new album, but rest assured we’re keeping our eyes peeled for updates. For now, comment below and let us know your first impressions of the band’s new material.
