France electro-poppers Phoenix are back with a music video for “Chloroform” off their new album, Bankrupt! Frontman Thomas Mars asked his wife, Sofia Coppola, to direct. Ah, the perks of marrying a famous director.
Before you get excited for part two, no, R. Kelly isn’t in this. Instead, the video is a musty, aging set of faux-concert shots that are beautiful in all their sadness.
