A$AP Rocky Releases New Music Video Starring Michael K. Williams

Remember LONG.LIVE.A$AP? It’s that A$AP Rocky album that dropped at the beginning of the year, had some hits and a slew of notable guest spots. Well, Pretty Flacko’s still promoting the album visually which is fine with us. He just released a video for one of the album’s latter (and darker) cuts and it has some star-power behind it.

Starring “Omar Little” or “Chalky White” if you prefer something a little more recent, Michael K. Williams takes the lead alongside fashion model Joan Smalls in the Francesco Carrozzini-directed video for “Phoenix,” with a story penned by Dario Argento’s daughter, Asia Argento. Rocky explained to MTV News, “This tale of a Phoenix is it dies and is reborn in its own ashes. So metaphorically we wanted to manifest that into my video.”

You can check out the excellently produced visuals after the break.
