Trinidad Jame$ Debuts “L.I.A.R.S.”

Atlanta native Trinidad Jame$ recently stirred up a bit of controversy when he was quoted claiming that Atlanta currently runs the New York City rap scene. As soon as his comments got out everyone from radio NYC DJs to rappers began crying foul, and now Jame$ has fired back with a new track titled “L.I.A.R.S.”

Released as a free MP3, “L.I.A.R.S.” finds Jame$ addressing the rumors and insults thrown his way in recent weeks. He does not directly mention his comments, but there are plenty of references to NYC, including a shoutout of sorts for Hot97, that make the message behind Jame$’ music crystal clear. He may seem like a easygoing guy, and most the time that is probably a fair assessment of his outlook on life, but when people start to talk shit Jame$ wastes no time putting them in their place. You can stream “L.I.A.R.S.” at the end of this post.

Trinidad Jame$ released his lackluster 10 Pc Mild mixtape back in August, but anyone following his social media feeds already knows he has another album currently being prepped for release. Whether or not “L.I.A.R.S.” makes the final cut is anyone’s guess, but considering the fact this track was released censored I think it’ll likely appear again, on his album or elsewhere, in the weeks ahead. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on the track.
