Schematic, the new project from former Mae vocalist Dave Elkins, has signed to Spartan Records.

The label will be releasing Schematic’s debut album Color (n.) Inside The Lines on December 3. It’s currently available to pre-order on Spartan Records’ web store in a variety of formats including digital, CD, and gatefold double vinyl.

There will be 750 copies of the record on vinyl: 250 in blue, 250 in red and yellow, and 250 in Half & Half (Blue/Red and Yellow/Green). There are also t-shirt bundles available for each physical edition.

Limited copies of the CD and vinyl will also be available at indie retailers for Record Store Day’s “Black Friday” on November 29. The vinyl will be a retail exclusive – Transparent Blood Red Gatefold Double Vinyl. Only 500 of those are being made.

To get a taste of the album, stream the lead single “Stand” below or on USA Today who says the song is “deceptively complex, with an accessible melody written over changing time signatures.”

The song is also available to purchase on iTunes
