Kanye West Speaks At Harvard About Utopia

It’s not that time of year for celebrities to head to commencement ceremonies at colleges around the country, so what was Kanye West doing at the Harvard School of Design? Oh, you know, talking about the power of design and the possibilities of a Utopian society while Kim Kardashian looked on.

West really believes in things, like how “the world can be saved through design,” explaining, “And this is the reason why even some of the first DONDA employees were architects that started designing T-shirts instead of buildings. But just to see the work actually be actualized.”

Then there’s the matter of the utopia; “I believe that utopia is actually possible, but we’re led by the least noble, the least dignified, the least tasteful, the dumbest, and the most political. So in no way am I a politician–I’m usually at my best politically incorrect and very direct. I really appreciate you guys’ willingness to learn and hone your craft, and not be lazy about creation.”

While all that went on, Kardashian sat there on Instagram, posting a picture of West with the caption, “My baby speaking at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.”

Rewinding just a bit, imagine what a utopia would look like in the “Black Skinhead” world… While you ponder that, you can watch West speaking at Harvard below.
