Arcade Fire’s 2014 Tour To Require Formal Dress

The small series of Arcade Fire shows leading up to the release of the group’s latest album, Reflektor, featured an unfamiliar twist: Attendees were required to come in formal attire or costume. The dress code matches the style of the band’s recent performances, and it no doubt makes the experience even more memorable (as if seeing Arcade Fire wasn’t memorable enough already).

As strange as it might be to see an arena full of suits and dresses at a rock and roll show, the Canadian indie rock giants want to make it happen. Every ticket for their recently announced 2014 tour includes this note:

Please Note: NIGHT OF SHOW: Please wear formal attire or costume.

Are you planning on seeing Arcade Fire next year? Have an interesting costume in mind for the show? Let us know in the comments.
