WATCH: Eddie Murphy’s New Music Video For “Temporary”

Everyone can appreciate celebrities who are multi-talented. In 2014, it isn’t shocking for an actor to play music or vice versa.

Unfortunately, even athletes have gotten in on it. Shaq wanted to rap, well, many basketball players want to rap, we all remember LeBron James performing with LMFAO.

It is a breath of fresh air to watch Eddie Murphy‘s latest video for “Temporary,” which was released a few days ago. You can see Murphy playing his acoustic guitar and singing smoothly, although I don’t think the sunglasses were entirely necessary inside the studio. He performs with a full band and a harmony of group choir-like vocals that really makes me consider listening to more as opposed to shrugging him off.

This isn’t Eddie’s first crack at making music, but now he’s taken a serious step back from acting to dedicate his time to his music.

Yesterday, he was on The Arsenio Hall Show promoting his new album coming out in early 2014, entitled 9.

Check out below the jump to see Eddie’s newest video for “Temporary” as well his video for “Red Light” featuring Snoop Lion (or whatever animal he’s currently going by).
