Watch Katy Perry’s Video For “Unconditionally”

Katy Perry looks flawless in her new video for “Unconditionally” surrounded by a winter wonderland, fire and an owl.

Usually Perry’s videos are elaborate pieces with plot-lines and wacky costumes and even odder antics, but she toned it down for the second single off Prism. She told MTV her reasoning for that, “It doesn’t have a complete narrative. I do that all the time; I usually have quite a big story line…. This time I wanted to give a lot of gorgeous, beautiful looks, which I don’t usually go for. But it’s mostly just a beautiful video that is supposed to evoke this power of love.”

Just over a week ago Perry performed “Unconditionally” at the EMAs high above the stage, but was overshadowed by Miley Cyrus’ actually getting high onstage. Damn that Cyrus, she also stole all the attention from Katy (and everyone else) at the VMAs when, you know, that performance happened.
