When Bono isn’t out saving the world, he likes to let his hair down and have a little fun – at charity events. Okay, so you can’t pull that guy away from a good cause. This weekend when he was in New York at the AIDS charity (RED) auction afterparty he hopped on stage with the Edge to cover Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.”
Not only did the audience get one half of U2, but Niles Rodgers who co-wrote the hit was also on deck. Since he’s Bono, we’ll forgive him for not knowing all the words, but at least he was having a good time with it. He was probably all giddy because they raised more than $12.8 million that night.
You can watch the Bono, the Edge, Niles Rodgers and more get down to “Get Lucky” below.
