Holy shit, folks. This headline is no lie. 40 Hour Train Back To Penn is finally being repressed.
Of all the quote/unquote ‘iconic’ scene albums to be overdue for a repress, The Movielife’s 40 Hour Train Back To Penn has been at the top of the want list for many audiophiles since the original pressing sold out more than half a decade ago. Now, according to a recent social media update from Mutant League Records, a new pressing is being made available for the new year.
Taking to Facebook this afternoon, Mutant League Records posted:
Stoked to announce that we are repressing The Movielife album “Forty Hour Train Back To Penn” on 12″ vinyl. Limited to 1000 copies, pre-orders coming late December.
40 Hour Train Back To Penn is a personal favorite of many UTG staffers, so rest assured we’ll bring you more information on how to claim a copy for your collection in the weeks ahead. Until then, click below to watch the video for one of the album’s most notable tracks.
