Details On ‘Fast And Furious 7’ Opening Sequence Leak Online

Warning: Spoilers ahead. If you have not seen Fast and Furious 6 we suggest you turn back now.

The hype for the upcoming seventh installment in the Fast and Furious franchise is already at an all-time high for the series thanks to a creative post-credits sequence in Fast and Furious 6. That sequence not only revealed the villain for the upcoming film, but also tied the story back to the often underrated third entry in the series, Tokyo Drift. Now, thanks to Movies.Com, we have the first details about what fans can expect when Fast and Furious 7 rolls into theaters next year.

For a quick recap, Fast and Furious 6 ended with Han’s death from Tokyo Drift following a lengthy chase through the streets of Tokyo. As his wrecked car burned, the camera turned to find Jason Statham calling Vin Diesel’s character to let him know he was responsibility for the fate of his friend. When people purchase the blu ray for FF6, which hits stores December 10, they will get to see what happens after the smoke has cleared. According to a report from Movies, an extra on the home video release shares a full sequence from Fast and Furious 7 that shows the gang at Han’s funeral. You can read their description below:

So in the new scene, the gang is at Han’s funeral and Dom (Vin Diesel) says “You were always my brother, Han. He put you in this grave, so now I’ll do the same to him.” That’s followed by Tej (Ludacis) saying “First Han, now Hobbs is laid up, of all people.” Hobbs is the bad-ass played by Dwayne Johnson, revealing something bad happens to the character early in the new film.

What Statham’s character could have possibly done to injure or otherwise hurt Hobbs is anyone’s guess, but we’re certainly curious to find out. For now, comment below and let us know what you think will happen when Fast and Furious 7 arrives in theaters next Spring.
