I Killed The Prom Queen Release Teaser Video For Forthcoming Release

Earlier in the week, Australian Metalcore act I Killed The Prom Queen released a teaser video promoting their upcoming full-length, which is set to drop at some point in 2014 via Epitaph Records. You can view it after the jump.

This will be the first album the outfit will release under the label since joining them earlier this month, and additionally the group’s first full-length effort since 2006’s Music for the Recently Deceased, following an extended hiatus from 2008 to 2011. Though it has been confirmed that this forthcoming release has already been recorded, it has yet to receive an official title or set release date.

Just last year, the group released a music video for “Memento Vivere,” their first new song in nearly five years. The video was filmed during the five-piece’s extensive romp across the pond back in mid-2012.

This past July, long-time bassist Sean Kennedy announced via Instagram that he had left the band and wouldn’t be contributing to their next album. He has since been replaced by Benjamin Coyte, the vocalist of In Trenches.

If this teaser is any indication, it would appear that, despite line-up changes and years of inactivity, IKTPQ haven’t lost any of the signature brutality that put them on the map in the first place. Be sure to check back regularly, as the release of a new track in the coming months is almost inevitable.
