Vanna Announce 7″ LP And Stream New Song

Vanna have been together for nearly 10 years, and during that time they’ve put out some great music. A lot of bands end up having recorded songs that don’t make it to their albums, or they have ideas that never go beyond a few verses. That’s usually where we get b-sides or singles from.

The band has decided to take some of those songs they have put together and they have announced that they will release a 7″ titled Preying/Purging. The record will be hitting stores December 17, and pre-order bundles are available by heading here. You can read the announcement from the band by checking below.

They’ve premiered the very first single from Preying/Purging via Absolutepunk. The song is titled “Preying,” and you can listen to it by checking below as well.

We are constantly writing and jamming new ideas while at home and on the road. We had a collection of riffs and lyrics that we really wanted to put toward something, and the idea of self releasing a 7″ was born. We figured it was a cool way to put these songs out into the world and give them their own spotlight. Preying/Purging is a chance for us to try some cool directions out while progressing in the Vanna sound as well as give people some more songs to jam and hopefully enjoy.
Both these songs are personal and mean a lot to the band. Our hope is that you feel us on every level with these. If you don’t have a record player, go out and grab one at a second hand store or music shop, you’re missing out on some great music on vinyl.
